I love interacting with people, and in the three years I’ve been a ‘connected’ educator, I’ve thrived on the relationships I’ve developed within my professional learning network (PLN). So much so, that I started the #TLAPdownunder Twitter chat, to foster connections, sharing and learning with other passionate educators. After the chat ended earlier this year, I was seeking an avenue to maintain those connections, but to also cultivate new links and associations. Through connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, I found my own inspiration, so I was seeking an avenue to encourage others to find connection through our journeys and authentic stories. And so the idea for the podcast was born!
Each episode is an opportunity to listen as guests from all walks of life share where they have found inspiration, who has influenced them in their lives and what impact they hope to have on the lives of others. These stories not only connect and empower us, but inspire, influence and impact those around us, often more than we’ll ever know.
