I was recently asked to contribute an article to the latest edition of the Teacher Learning Network Journal on Middle Leadership, and I'm honoured to be included alongside middle leaders, school principals and academics. I share my insights as someone without a leadership title, but who leads from the middle, in Beyond Titles: Unveiling the Transformative Power of Interactional Leadership (p15). An insightful perspective on how leadership goes beyond titles and is built through connection, influence, and meaningful interactions. Authentic leadership can make a real difference in education. What stood out to me was the idea that leadership does not always come from having a formal title.
